Like many people, I’ve had to make adjustment since moving to a work from home environment. Given that I was not expecting to be setting up a home office, I did not have a lot of space reserved for a remote oasis.
Luckily, I’ve been slowly building a space the affords me everything I need to replicate everything I need to #wfh.
The first thing I had to find was a small desk, that I could put in a room that was already pretty monopolized on space. Besides the space constraints, my other requirements were that it be white with silver accents, have drawers and be something that I could add in as a different element of decor if I needed to in the future.
I ended up finding a Chic Gloss White Console Table with metal legs. It measured only 15.7 inches from front to back, making it perfect for my space but still providing enough room for all of my office items. So far, it has held up great, though unfortunately it’s sold out, so I can’t pass the find on for the time being.
The best thing about working from home is definitely my furriest co-worker, pictured here. While she is not always keen on the amount of meetings and attention I have to give to my work (who is?) I think she knows I’m working hard to give us both a better life.
What work from home changes have you made if any?
